Welcome to Double XX, a new radio show series on KISU. Join me, Elle Mann as we go on an adventure focused on showcasing women in the music industry. Women in music have taken to world by storm, and it's my job to highlight this fact! So, sit back, and relax while we listen to some blasts from the past or modern day hits. We're back! In this new September 2024 installment of Double XX, we are shining a spotlight on the 60's! Voices such as Dionne Warwick, Etta James, and Joni Mitchell all make an appearance in this episode, as well as a few other talented women who were releasing music during this timeless era of music. Whether it was the classy soul that this decade is famous for, or the acoustic guitar gems, the 60's gave the word "dreaminess" a whole new meaning.
