Ann Thompson, Program Coordinator, at Idaho State University's Office of Equity and Inclusion is making a call to students for their creative works regarding "belonging" and how they come to know belonging at Idaho State University.

A California-based company has agreed to pay $600,000 for restoration efforts to the Portneuf River in Pocatello after it violated the Clean Water Act.

The League of Women Voters of Pocatello (LWVP) sponsored “2024 Idaho Legislature Preview,” a virtual forum on January 4. Idaho District 28 and 29 legislators presented their expectations about the issues and bills expected to be discussed during the 2024 Idaho Legislative Session. Saturday, December 16 is the Pocatello Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (PUUF)'s 35th annual Festival of Lights starting at 4 PM, at 309 North Garfield in Pocatello. All are welcome and there is no cost to attend. An offertory will be collected to benefit Aid for Friends Pocatello, an emergency homeless shelter.
