Low Cut Connie Brings Electrifying Rock & Roll to Boise’s Shrine Social Club on June 30

Philadelphia’s acclaimed rock & roll band Low Cut Connie is set to ignite the stage at Boise’s Shrine Social Club on June 30, delivering their signature high-energy performance led by dynamic frontman Adam Weiner.

With seven studio albums and a reputation for raucous, piano-driven shows, Low Cut Connie has built a devoted following that includes some of music and culture’s biggest names. President Barack Obama featured the band on his inaugural Spotify playlist and later welcomed Weiner to the White House. Elton John has dedicated a song to Weiner on stage and met with him backstage, while Bruce Springsteen invited the frontman behind the scenes during his Broadway run.

The band’s live-wire performances and Weiner’s magnetic stage presence have earned praise from major media outlets, including The New Yorker, which named Weiner a “Pandemic Person of the Year,” as well as appearances on Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and NPR’s Fresh Air.

Low Cut Connie has also made headlines for their recent political advocacy. Earlier this year, Weiner’s decision to cancel a performance at the Kennedy Center in protest was covered by Rolling Stone and The New York Times, and inspired the band’s latest single, “Livin in the USA.” The song draws on Weiner’s experiences traveling across the country and his commitment to using music as a force for social commentary.

The Boise show comes on the heels of the band’s 2023 album ART DEALERS and the subsequent concert film and documentary of the same name. The film has garnered critical acclaim, winning the Artistic Vision Award at the 2023 Richmond International Film Festival and Best Music Documentary at Film Threat’s 2024 Award This! event.

Fans and newcomers alike can expect an unforgettable night of raw, soulful rock & roll when Low Cut Connie takes the stage at Shrine Social Club. Adam Weiner is currently available for interviews, and press passes are available upon request.

Low Cut Connie’s show at Shrine Social Club promises to be one of the summer’s must-see events for Boise music lovers.
