  • Idaho colleges and universities have two priorities when budgeting: adding staff and giving raises to the current staff. The requests are in for the 2025-26 school year, and we have our first look at the numbers.
  • Friends of Minidoka, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving the lessons and legacies of the unjust incarceration of Japanese Americans outside of Jerome, Idaho, will be hosting two programs in Idaho Falls about the thirty-seven Japanese Americanmen who defied the Selective Service Act while incarcerated at Minidoka Relocation Center during World War II.
  • In an effort to protect and maintain wild horse herds in Southeastern Idaho, the Bureau of Land Management Owyhee and Four Rivers field offices' staff gathered 74 total wild horses last week.
  • Yesterday in Rigby, Governor Brad Little joined groundwater and surface water users to further his support for Idaho farmers by committing $10 million dollars towards Eastern Snake Plain Aquifer projects.

  • This summer, Montana Shakespeare in the Parks is performing Shakespeare’s Hamlet on July 30 and The Winter’s Tale July 31 on the Idaho State University Quad. A Partnership with ISU Summer activities and Pocatello Arts Council, parking available this year on the street and at the Frazier Auditorium Parking lot.

The “All-American Festival Concert” will raise funds for a new endowment dedicated to student scholarships in the music program.
