Homeless Encampment & Valley Warming Shelter

Valley Mission is partnered with Housing Alliance and Community Partnerships to provide the Pocatello and Chubbuck communities an Emergency Warming Shelter at the old Convergys Building, 805 N Main, and they need the communities help by volunteering. Jessica Buckley, Grants Administrator with Aid For Friends Pocatello, and Karl Pettit, Director of Valley Mission, share more information with McKenzie about the new warming shelter in Pocatello.

All volunteers are required to go through the Valley Mission training before serving. Another training will be offered Monday, December 22. For those interested in becoming a volunteer, please go to www.valleymission.org/get-involved to let them know you are coming.
