Vanessa Gallegos is a 4th generation Mexican-American, and first generation college student. She is a registered dietitian, and finishing up her Master's in Public Health at Idaho State University. For her capstone project, Vanessa has created a collaborative Facebook page that educates, empowers, and connects Spanish speakers throughout Southeast Idaho with resources related to health and wellness, SALUD SOUTHEAST IDAHO.

Resources include information related to physical & mental health, food, education assistance, community events, and more. Partners thus far include Southeastern Idaho Public Health, Bingham Memorial Hospital, SEICCA, SICOG, Aid for Friends, 988 Suicide Prevention Awareness, and more.
