Dr. Rachel Hulse And Dean Teresa Conner discuss the work that Medical Laboratory Scientists do, in order to keep communities healthy. They also talk about best practices to reduce your chance of getting sick.

Dr. Hulse has been with ISU for 9 years now, serving as the Program Director for the Medical Laboratory Science program. Rachel graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Utah with her BS in Medical Technology, later going on to earn 2 MS degrees in Genetics and Biotechnology from Brigham Young University and the University of Utah. Rachel finished her doctorate degree here at Idaho State University and has since been interested in interdisciplinary clinical research and expanding her program. Rachel was born and raised in Colorado and loves the Mountain West- with all the beautiful outdoor activities we enjoy and spends every free minute she has with her 3 kids.

Teresa Conner, dean for the College of Health at Idaho State University oversees College of Health administration and operations through facilitating strategic and facilities planning. Conner also supports a robust research profile, promotes faculty development in teaching, scholarship, and service, as well as builds and maintains collaborative relationships within the COH, community organizations, business and industry, civic and government, and educational systems.
