CJ pays tribute to artists we lost in 2024...that were influential to, influenced by, or part of the Alternative School world. It's a musical celebration of life, with tunes from World Party, Mojo Nixon, Ultravox, My Chemical Romance, and more!

I have been invading East Idaho's airwaves since 1997, close to 20 years was spent being a DJ and production director for a local classic rock station (KMGI-FM), and programming sports radio and ISU Football and Men's Basketball (KSEI-AM). The stations were sold in November 2014, and I joined the KISU-FM staff part-time in August 2015. Alternative School premiered on April 1, 2016, and I have been very fortunate to be able to share my love of classic New Wave, Alternative, Punk, Ska, and more with KISU's listeners--while getting an education about the artists and songs myself!
