To achieve its mission, The City Club of Idaho Falls invites insightful speakers to present on various topics of public interest. Based on schedules and speaker availability, City Club generally offers ten lunch forum events each year, as well as a number of special engagements. City Club forums are recorded and aired by KISU-FM. The audio archive is maintained by the City Club of Idaho Falls. On occasion, KISU posts forum audio and presentation materials for the convenience of its radio audience.
History
The Club was founded in 2007 and has featured informative and insightful speakers covering a variety of subjects such as Restoring the Presidency of the United States, Globalization and American Economics, Preserving Judicial Independence, and much more. KISU-FM has been a sponsor of Idaho Falls City Club since 2007 and has helped build a complete audio archive of past events.
Mission
The City Club of Idaho Falls exists to sponsor and promote civil dialogue and discourse on all matters of public interest. We strive to do so in a non-partisan and non-sectarian manner, while encouraging broad participation by the community at large.
