Idaho Food Bank Year End and Beyond Opportunities

Kyle Peck, Development Coordinator in Pocatello for the Idaho Food Bank, speaks to KISU FM McKenzie Young about how The Idaho Foodbank works with over 400 partners across the state to distribute 25 million pounds of food each year to people in need. The holidays are a great time of year to get involved. There are all sorts of fundraisers and food drives and ways to give back to local organizations. Not only does it help during the holidays, but helps to set organizations up to serve people throughout the rest of the year as well. Individuals or businesses can donate money, food, or volunteer time by visiting idahofoodbank.org. More information can also be found on social media outlets or by calling our Pocatello warehouse at (208) 233-8811.

McKenzie began working at the station in 2003 while moseying her way through her undergraduate degree in Communication and Rhetorical studies [2012]. Her outgoing personality and involvement in various activities makes for a perfect fit to promote campus and community organizations and events*.
