Citizens Climate Lobby training in Pocatello

CCL in Washington D.C. ci. June 2023, only 650 volunteers. There were consistently around 1300 volunteers in attendance pre-covid.

Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, grassroots advocacy climate change organization focused on national policies to address the national and global climate crisis. CCL volunteers Paul Hancock and Laurel Eastman visit with McKenzie to discuss an upcoming training in Pocatello at the Marshall Public Library at 4 PM on Saturday, June 7. More information and to register by email pocatellopaul177@gmail.com or phone 208-244-1483.

Volunteers include everyone from high school students to concerned grandparents, engineers in the natural gas industry, house painters, farmers, and everyone in between. Some are PhDs and others are concerned citizens who just want to know how to help.

CCL volunteers are organized into hundreds of local chapters across the US and internationally. By focusing on shared values rather than partisan divides, CCL builds relationships with community leaders and with federal elected officials and with Congress, always starting from a place of respect, gratitude, and appreciation.
