Farm Bureau Summer Theatre at ISU

Interview participants: Damon Harding, Diesel Brubaker, Geoffrey Friedley, Melissa Ely, Meg Holmes, McKenzie Young and Jef Petersen

McKenzie Young is in the studio with the cast and crew of the Farm Bureau Summer Theatre production of Andrew Lloyd Weber’s “School of Rock: The Musical.” Performances are June 20, 21, 23, & 26 - 28 at 7:30 PM, in the Bistline Theatre at ISU’s Stephens Performing Arts Center.

This unique summer program is a collaboration of community performers and Idaho State University faculty and students from departments of Theatre and Dance and Music.

Participants in the interview included Director Jef Petersen, Conductor Geoffrey Friedley, and performers Diesel Brubaker playing “Billy,” Damon Harding playing “Dewey,” and Melissa Ely playing teacher “Ms. Gordon” and parent “Ms. Hamilton.”

McKenzie began working at the station in 2003 while moseying her way through her undergraduate degree in Communication and Rhetorical studies [2012]. Her outgoing personality and involvement in various activities makes for a perfect fit to promote campus and community organizations and events*.
